$5 Friday: Help Us Purchase Freezers and a Refrigerator
Every day, wildlife patients at the Wildlife In Need Center rely on nutritious diets to heal and recover. From fresh produce and meats to specialized formulas and vitamins, proper food storage is critical to the care we provide.
Our current freezers and refrigerators have been faithfully serving our patients since 2011. After more than 15 years of near-constant use, one refrigerator and two of our freezers are ready for replacement to ensure we can continue providing reliable care for our patients.
A freezer or refrigerator may not be the most exciting piece of rehabilitation equipment, but they are among the most important. Reliable freezer and refrigerator storage helps us keep food fresh, reduce waste, and ensure we always have the supplies needed to care for orphaned, injured, and sick wildlife.
