As many of our baby squirrels grow up, they’re going nuts—for nuts! These orphan squirrels not only need the nutrition provided by nuts but also benefit from the enriching experience of learning how to forage for food and crack open those tasty nut meats!
Our baby birds are also growing rapidly and are wild for worms! Depending on the species and age, these feathered youngsters require feeding every 15 minutes to an hour. It adds up—we spend thousands of dollars on worms each year!
This $5 Friday, your generous donation will help us keep our shelves stocked with the proper foods needed for their continued rehabilitation for both squirrels and birds.
